The Black Gay Expo will showcase the talents and contributions of the black gay community in an exciting and dynamic way! It will be an event filled with celebrity guest hosts, live performances and mind provoking seminars and panel discussions that will affect change in the minds of those attending. We welcome each and every facet of the black gay community to get involved no matter how great or small the entity; it is our hope that this will not only become an event that the community will be proud of but also an event that will contribute to the change of perception of how the black gay community is perceived worldwide.

The Project: The Annual Black Gay Expo will tour the metropolitan areas with dense urban gay populations such as New York, Atlanta, Miami, Chicago, San Francisco, D.C., Houston and Los Angeles. The Black Gay Expo will launch in 2008 as a one day event and will include exhibitors and vendors from companies within the urban gay community as well as those catering to the community directly. Authors, pride related events, television/radio networks, filmmakers, print publications, entertainers, poets, musical and visual artists and activists are just some of examples of some of the types of vendors and exhibitors to be expected to participate in this event. Airlines, travel agencies, dating websites, liquor companies, alternative entertainment, spas/gyms, financial services, resorts, cruises and automotive companies are just some of the companies catering to the community that are expected to be in attendance as well.
